I may not deserve to live, but I will protect those in my reach with my reverse blade!

So they've confirmed 52 episodes, first off (about 12-13 per book I guess). That's great news!

Anyway a lot of rumors and confirmed stuff going on here. It's supposedly has a lot to do with how Korra and her friends split up and grow up and the life of an avatar in the spirit and real world.

Judging by screenshots I've seen in relation they're going to backtrack and show some of Aangs life after he defeated the fire lord as well which should be great.

Rumors are everywhere so feel free to indulge.

Book 2 is called Spirits
Book 2 takes place six months after Book 1: Air
The Book begins with a festival in the Southern Water Tribe
The Southern Water Tribe has been rebuilt just like the Northern One
Each member the group gets polar outfits.
The Southern Air Temple and other ancient Air Temple sites WILL be visited.
Asami has taken over Future Industries, and has a business outfit
More info on Kya, whose favorite song is "Secret Tunnel". She's a bit of a hippie and has a special bond with Jinora

Unalaq concept art
Kya and Bumi also get winter garb.
We will meet Unalaq, Korra's uncle, who is the Chief of the Northern Water Tribe.
We will meet Unalaq's twins, a boy and a girl.
We'll find out more about Korra's family, and about the history of the different tribes.
There's no shortage of spirits this season.
Mako becomes a cop.
The Pro-bending crowds are the voices of the people at the Korra panel in SDCC 2012
Bolin will get a love interest.
Unlike Mako and Korra, Bolin still plays for the Fire Ferrets' pro-bending team
We will meet Verick, a captain industry residing in the Southern Water Tribe and a friend of Bolin's.
The voice actor of Azula confirmed that she will be returning to voice a character called "The Dark Spirit" (Thanks Random Ranaun and 115.166.11.4!)

Thanks for the info! Even though Korra wasn't as good as the original, I'm glad they'll be releasing more seasons. ^_^

I love this show but honestly I was a bit disappointed with Legend Of Korra, certainly not better than Last Air Bender.

Yeah the first season could have been better but I was happy with it. It was darker but didn't make it better.

I can't wait for the new season, didn't think there would really be one but heck at least we may get some answers to a lot of questions left over from The Last Airbender.

I'm hoping we see some Zuko in book 2. I think him and Katara are the only one's still alive from the gaang.

At the start of the series Aang is 12 and Zuko is either 15 or 16. I guess all those years in the iceberg caught up with him. If you wanna get technical aang is 112 at the beginning which is pretty crazy to think about.

Yes and no, Mike and Bryan posted on the official website that Zuko was still alive.

Secondly, they haven't announced when book 2 will premiere. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long, apparently it took 2 years to make the animation for book 1. Yikes! I guess it was worth the wait though, it had some beautiful animation.

It was good animation...but I liked the animation for the first series better lol. Anyway I'm hoping it doesn't take two years to see season two, like what the heck!

Perhaps they've been started animation on the second season while working on the first one.

Excited about the second season though. Hope we get to see it either the new year or summer of 2013.

Ah, I may have been confused by the fact his voice actor is General Iroh :p

I agree that the animation for it was amazing - I actually preferred it to the original.

No doubt about it, the animation for it was great, and the fighting was awesome in my opinion.

In comparison to Book 1 Water from LoA, I liked Book 1 Air from LoK. The entire series felt like it was building up to something big at the end.

LoA's Book 1 on the other hand... I felt the same about that as I did about Samurai Champloo - I could watch the first 2 eps, skip the rest until the last 2-3 episodes and still not missing anything of major importance.

Nope, Zuko is for sure still alive. Apparently he turned over the throne of the fire nation to his daughter. They haven't released anything about her though.
